I’m a passionate DIY’er and Remodeling enthusiast. I’m the creator of Cheap to Chic Mobile Home and I’m committed to sharing my knowledge of renovation and building skills with you.
After volunteering as a builder with Habitat for Humanity for 10+ years and building my own 1200 sq ft Garage and 480 sq ft Tiny House from scratch, we have downsized our life into a 784 sq ft Single Wide Manufactured Home in a Mobile Home Park.

Where this all began
As long as I can remember, I’ve loved building things with my hands, usually along side my Grandfather while doing it. From birdhouses to shelves to reroofing his house, we were a team! My Grandfather was an Engineer by day and my best-friend and mentor by night.
My Grandfather built his own house and that too became my dream – to feel that sense of pride and to feel his memory close by now that he’s passed. I realized my dream in 2019 with building a Garage and Tiny House completely from scratch – designing and building it to completion doing 90% of the labor ourselves.
